If you would ask me to describe myself, I would tell you that it wouldn’t be simple. If you want a short answer, I am simply complicated. I am not an open book nor a book with a synopsis you could read at the back to get a hint of what is in store for you. I am the type of book that you could get from a bargain bookshop with a simple catchphrase, nothing bold or fancy, just this voice inside you telling you to buy it. The type that you never thought would leave you breathless, hanging and longing for more.

You may be asking yourself, “What the hell is she talking about and what is the big deal about contradictions and being complicated is?” Hey, I assure you, it’s nothing like being a hypocrite. All I’m saying is you need to look deeper and understand in a whole perspective. I am not the “what-you-see-is-what-you-get” type of person. I am that emo with a happy face… the simple looking girl with a multitude of intricate thoughts and ideas.

I am also the type that is easily misunderstood—well, mostly by shallow people. I can’t blame them if their mind is so perplexed that they rely on their defense mechanisms to mask their insecurities. It’s such a pity I am not a people pleaser so I won’t succumb to their level. Fortunately, I rarely meet people I don’t like for I don’t judge people that easily.
